A New Social Platform: Teams

Expose your social media to a larger audience by posts from multiple Teams channels. Connections are secure and you can choose a layout and style, including video playback and a call to action. You can select posts by age and moderation is available to optimize communication with your team.

Updated Authentication

X Twitter: No need to authenticate, add up to 3 X handles you want to use in your feed.
Instagram: Secure authentication, with automatically refreshing token.
Facebook: Secure authentication requires admin access to a Facebook business page.
Teams Secure authentication, may require Microsoft365 admin approval before individual accounts can be connected.

Simplified Configuration and Moderation

‍In addition to how many of the latest posts you want to include, you can now choose to only display posts created within a specific number of days.

‍Sometimes primary content cannot be loaded. You now can add your own message ensuring your screens never go blank, maintaining communication with your audience even during technical issues.

Easier Moderation
‍Approval or Removal of posts is now incorporated into the feed configuration page, which makes it much easier to moderate posts on you feed.

What changes should I expect to my existing Social Feeds?

Existing subscriptions and feeds will stay the same

If you already subscribe to a Social media product, Facebook, Instagram, X(Twitter) or Social Apps Bundle any feeds created will be editable using the old configurator.
‍
Any new feeds created will be configured and edited using the new feed configuration editor.

At this time there is no way to use the new configuration editor on an existing feed, you would need to create a new feed, Authentication is saved on an account level, so you should not need to reauthorize the social platform.

If you are subscribed to the Social Apps Bundle, Teams will be automatically added.
If you don't see a Teams option appear this means you subscribe to the old Social Apps SKU, Teams can be added by changing your subscription to the newSocial Apps Bundle.
