Custom Sports Ticker
Many software options have a basic scrolling marquee ticker available that can ingest data from Screenfeed. However often LED panel installations require a higher level of customization, including cabinet mapping, customer design requirements including logos, fonts and messages. Sports tickers have become a mainstay of many restaurants, entertainment, retail and gaming institutions.
A business in the entertainment industry was expanding into a sports event screenings as a part of their business. Part of the strategy was to include multiple led tickers, to drive interest and to inform of current events. Initially they had decided on a color scheme to match their branding that required customization. They asked Screenfeed to build out two custom built HTML tickers, that scrolled showing the current day's sports scores, and upcoming games, including a custom logo and welcome message.
Once the custom ticker was requested Screenfeed got to work. Leveraging our custom services project team experiences, we were able to assist the Integrator in outlining a scope, organize the feed based on a cabinet map from their controller software data, develop and deploy in a few days. With adjustments to installation schedules, real world testing, and changing customer needs, Screenfeed updated the tickers iteratively to make sure the deployment was a smooth as possible. The customer in the end decided that the light background did not fit with the space, since this was a custom build that was not a problem. Screenfeed quickly was able to adjust to a dark background, light text and include the company slogan and logo (not pictured).
Once deployed the tickers set the new sports focused space apart from the main entertainment business, attracting new and repeat customers with ever changing data and engaging visuals.
