Step by Step guide to creating a Microsoft Outlook Calendar data connection.
Connections can be created for a Microsoft Office 365 hosted calendar. This includes calendars that are shared with your Office 365 user and subscribed calendars. It does not include calendars that are not hosted in Office 365.
When creating a connection to a data source select the widget then click Connect to Data Source under the data header in the right hand properties panel.
Next click on Microsoft Calendar under the Create a Connection heading.
Either choose your account or click Add Account
If you haven’t already connected to your Microsoft account. Connect will request you grant access. If you have already connected to your account you do not need to grant access again, click the name of your account to proceed.
Log in with your Microsoft Account.
Click Accept to authorize Connect with your Microsoft Account.
Now that you have authorized your account select your Account
You will see a list of calendars. This list is your calendars, calendars shared with you and calendars to which you have subscribed. Select the calendar that you would like to use.
You will see a preview of the first 5 events click Continue after validating your calendar is presenting the correct data.
Set the synchronization frequency for the data connection.
Optionally rename your calendar and set if you want this data connection shared for use in other apps in your Connect account.
Your Connection has been created and is connected to the widget. Click close to go back to App Builder.
