DigitalSignage.com Integration Overview

Learn how to easily integrate your Screenfeed digital signage content with DigitalSignage.com, easy-to-follow screenshots are included.

Below are the methods in which we have tested and recommend to get our content into your DigitalSignage playlist loop.

- Media RSS

- HTML*

- Direct URL

*HTML - Not all HTML feeds will necessarily play within the HTML component within Digitalsignage.com. The ExtApp/Capture component may be needed in certain situations. To our knowledge this option is available on Windows based players.  http://www.digitalsignage.com/_html/reseller_video.html?videoNumber=FireFox

For this walk through we will go over both Media RSS and HTML Delivery methods. From your main Dashboard navigate to the Components section and select Media RSS/Podcast, click and drag the component into your campaign and respective channel timeline.

Once the component is in your channel timeline, right click on the recently added item and select Edit Item from the menu.

In the lower right section you will see Properties of the item you have selected. The sub-menu items will consist of Definitions, Commons, and Component. From the Component section click on the dropdown from the RSS menu and select [Custom]. Then enter your feed URL in the link box provided.

After a moment you should see a preview of the feed within the Campaign window to the left of the Properties window. Additionally, under the Definitions tab, you can set the duration for the feed (which can also be set in the timeline if you prefer).
